Google's mobile payment service works on the web and with both Android and iOS devices. Google Pay is a mobile payment app that allows you to pay for items online or through contactless payment. How do I set up Google Pay on Android?
To set up the Google Pay app:
1. Make sure your phone's Android version is Lollipop (5.0) or higher.
2. Download Google Pay.
3. Open the Google Pay app and follow the setup instructions.
4. If you have another contactless payment app on your phone: In your phone's Settings app, make Google Pay the default payment app.
Is Google Pay no longer available?

As of today, the old Google Pay app and website no longer allow for sending or receiving money in the US, leaving it left without much functionality.
Can I use Google Pay without debit card?
One cannot use Google Pay without a debit card. You must either have an ATM card or debit card to avail UPI services through Google Pay. If it doesn't, your bank account won't work with Google Pay. Open Google Pay.
How do I pay with Google Pay?
Open Google Pay . Tap “New payment” in the screen, it will take you to payment options where you need to tap Bank transfer option.
1. Once you send the money, the transaction can't be cancelled.
2. Tap Pay.
3. Enter the amount and description and select the form of payment.
4. Tap Proceed to pay.
5. Enter your UPI PIN.
Is Google Pay Safe?
Transactions using Google Pay are secure as Google keeps all payment information on secure servers. Your full card details are never stored on your phone or shared with merchants when you use Google Pay. Merchants are only provided with your Virtual Account Number.
How long does it take to receive money from Google Pay?
With Google Pay balance, the transaction is usually quick. With your debit card, the transaction is usually quick. In some cases it may take up to 24 hours. With your bank account, the transaction can take up to 3–5 business days.
